Following on from the success of Frozen Jr and The Aristocats KIDS, we're bringing another classic Disney film to the stage this summer!
Disney’s Finding Nemo KIDS is a musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo, with new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.
Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as Dory, Crush, and the Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.
If you're new to shows at RCT, we recommend reading our Shows FAQ first.

P1 - P7
Those in P1 - P7 will form the bulk of the casts and everyone who registers will be involved in the show. For those who want to audition, there will be a number of principal parts available for this age group.
The group will rehearse 3.00pm – 5.00pm on Sundays (with possible extensions for those with principal parts).
S1 - S6
The S1 -S6 group will focus primarily on supporting our younger cast members. Although there are large principal parts available for this age group, their main focus will be learning harmony, stage support and transitions etc. We are looking specifically for those who are keen to embody the RCT family ethos and work with our younger performers.
The S1 - S6 group will rehearse on Sundays from 3.00pm - 6.00pm (there will not be any additional rehearsals scheduled during the exam diet).
Rehearsal Attendance
Finding Nemo KIDS has a very short rehearsal period. We've found that when performers miss even one rehearsal, they have difficulty catching up fully. This impacts not only the performer themselves but also their castmates. We want everyone to enjoy the rehearsal process and as such it is expected that all performers will attend all rehearsals. Please note that the dress rehearsal is mandatory for safety reasons.
We'd ask that you consider your child's upcoming plans (such as birthday parties, family gatherings and other activities) during the rehearsal period and decide if they can commit fully to the production before registering.
How to Pay
There are three different ways to pay:
- In full at registration - we accept all major credit / debit cards.
- Over 3 or 4 monthly instalments - select the option at checkout (first payment is due at registration).
- Nothing now, pay the balance by 14th June - use the code RCTDEFER24 at checkout.
If for any reason, you need to withdraw your child from the show, we will refund payments in full for any cancellation before 20th April. After this we will have incurred significant cost in relation to your child's space and are unlikely to replace them so would not be able to refund any of the fee. If you have chosen to pay in instalments or deferred payment, any outstanding balance will become due at cancellation.
As always, we believe that cost should never be a barrier to participation - part and fully funded places are available. Just use the code RCTDEFER24 at checkout then get in touch and we'll see how we can help.
