Having now run panto at The Cowane, and looked at the Matilda scripting and logistics, we're going to run two separate rehearsal groups, each containing two casts each,  a total of four casts. This means that your young people will have more opportunities and a smoother experience than trying to run three casts over one rehearsal period.

Our ‘big kids’ (Matilda often splits in to big kids / little kids) will perform across both casts in their group.

I fully appreciate this is new for us, and that lots of you share lifts etc, so as usual, you’ll be asked if you have a preference for both group and cast. As ever, expressing no preference gives us the most flexibility when it comes to casting.
