Young Frankenstein – Wheelchair Accessible Tickets

Thu 11th June – Sat 13th June
at The Cowane, 69 Cowane Street, Stirling.

These tickets are for audience members who remain in their wheelchair during the performance. Each ticket includes space for the wheelchair user and one companion, meaning there’s no need to book an additional ticket for the companion.

Grandson of the infamous Victor Frankenstein, Frederick Frankenstein inherits his family’s estate in Transylvania. With the help of a hunchbacked side-kick, Igor and a leggy lab assistant, Inga, Frederick finds himself in the mad scientist shoes of his ancestors. “It’s alive!” he exclaims as he brings to life a creature to rival his grandfather’s. Eventually, of course, the monster escapes and hilarity continuously abounds. Young Frankenstein features the gloriously over-the-top humour you’d expect from Mel Brooks: comic horror, copious innuendo, and occasional strong language throughout.

Its style of comedy is intentionally old-fashioned and tongue-in-cheek, reflecting the era and classic parody traditions it celebrates. Although there’s no specific age restriction we would recommend for ages 13+, with parental discretion advised for younger audience members.

Only performances with tickets available will be shown. If you can’t see a specific date or time, then unfortunately that performance is sold out.
