The enchantment of Arendelle is coming soon. Join us as we bring the magic of Disney Hit Frozen Jr. to life on stage.
Frozen JR. is based on the 2018 Broadway and West End musical, and brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life, on stage. The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film, plus five new songs written for the Broadway and West End production.
A story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Frozen JR. expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood. With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and plenty of humor, Frozen JR. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart!
Anna Cast & Elsa Cast
We will run two main casts (Anna cast and Elsa cast), performing two shows each. It is currently our intention to have an older cast of principals and a younger cast of principals, but this very much depends on who signs up and who auditions for what. More on the third cast below.
As such on this occasion when you sign up, you will be unable to select a preference for which cast. (Although there will be space to note if you have a preference to be in the same cast as someone else to aid car sharing, confidence etc).
The rehearsal period for Frozen is quite short, and as such we may extend the opportunity to perform across all performances to some performers who are keen to commit to additional harmony rehearsals. You will be given the chance to state interest in this on registration and places will be confirmed once the cast lists are released.
Anna & Elsa Casts have reached capacity. As such, please add your child to our waiting list.
For those who are keen to take part in Frozen Jr but who might not be ready for the intensity of a full rehearsal schedule, there's the option to sign up to our Olaf cast.
Supported by principals and older children from the other casts, the Olaf cast will take to the stage for a 'one night only' relaxed performance of the show. As part of the Olaf cast, children will take part in shorter rehearsals, with simpler choreography, and in a more relaxed environment.
It’s ideally suited to those who feel they may not be ready for a full show / rehearsal experience, either due to age or any additional support needs.
The Olaf cast has reached capacity. As such, please add your child to our waiting list.
The fees for Frozen Jr are:
- Anna & Elsa Casts - £110 per person
- Olaf Cast - £65 per person
- Full time supervised training in music, dance and performance during the times above.
- Participation in complete performances with full production, lighting, sound, makeup etc on our stage at DCF.
- Personalised RCT ‘Frozen Jr.’ t-shirt
- Full photo pack containing individual professional promo photo, digital copies of all rehearsal / on stage photos and an A3 souvenir poster showing the entire cast.
As always, we strongly believe that cost should not be a barrier to participation and will always, where needed, offer payment in instalments, fee reductions, or fully funded places. If you would like to speak to us about cost, drop us a message before registration opens.
Due to the short nature of the rehearsal period and the shorter-than-usual lead into the show, if you need to withdraw from the show for any reason, fees for Frozen Jr. can only be refunded in full until the 31st March. After this point, we will be able to refund 50% of fees until the 30th April. After this point, we will have incurred significant costs relating to your child's space, and are wont be able to offer the space to another child, so the fee is non-refundable beyond the 30th April.
Bonus - Easter Workshops
In addition, we will run 2 Frozen workshops over the Easter holidays (Thu 6th & Thu 13th April - 2.00pm - 5.00pm)
We're aware lots of you might be away over Easter, and the show will not have been cast by that point, so these will cover some of the big chorus numbers. These will be included in your registration but will also be open to non-cast members to take part in as we expect the casts to be over-subscribed.
